Unexpected hiatus I had to take my laptop to the local "Geek Squad" precinct in Best Buy, because my laptop was showing signs of imminent meltdown. It was freezing just minutes after signing on to Windows XP. I originally thought it was some spyware junk that my brother accidently downloaded from a "mysterious" IM that popped up, but the Geeks from squad informed me that my hardrive was going to crash in a matter of weeks. So not only was I unexpectedly away from my precious blog ::coughs:: I had to unexpectedly shed out money to pay for the service. With that stated, why are hardrives only expected to function 2-3 years? I still remember the headache my computer gave me earlier this year. I had to reformat the laptop and it took days to load up the drivers necesary for my laptop. DELL only knows how to make things much more difficult, why couldn't they just make a CD with ONLY the drivers necesary to install in MY computer. DELL expected me, earlier in the year, to download the missing drivers from the DELL website.... "HOW? With what Internet? I called you to fix the problem so I can be back online!", I proclaimed. I finally got the missing drivers downloaded after various trips to and internet fees from a UPS store 30 minutes from my house. Luckily, the help from DELL I got yesterday was alot smoother thanks in part because I kept the CD that had the missing drivers from last time. P.S. I have to blog about the day that never wanted to end... coming soon!!!

White Sox are the Champions of the World! The Chicago White Sox managed to sweep the Houston Astros in four games to win the World Series. Of course, I would have preferred my Florida Marlins to win it all, but as long as it is not the NY Yankees, Atlanta Braves, or any other NL East teams then I am happy for them. I was quite unsure what team I was cheering for, because I respect both teams, but I just love the White Sox story. I assume I have to wait another year for to celebrate not only a possible Florida Marlins championship, but also for my current hometown spring training team - the Houston Astros. Congrats to the Go-Go White Sox, Chicago is proud of you! Go Marlins!!!!

Lyrics Pick: Fever -- Peggy Lee A great way to display my mood or personality is by music. Because I am not that saavy when it comes to this blog, I will do the next best thing..... Post Lyrics. Here is my selection for today. Its Peggy Lee's rendition of Fever. Bette Midler made an album of sample songs from Peggy Lee's song catalog. I don't know and not a big fan of Peggy Lee, but I have heard this song in some commercials and her famous "Big Spender" which is in a Broadway Play's soundtrack, I am not sure from what play exactly..... Well, Here is Fever by Peggy Lee -------------------------------------------- Never know how much I love you Never know how much I care When you put your arms around me I get a fever that's so hard to bear You give me fever (you give me fever) when you kiss me Fever when you hold me tight (you give me fever) Fever ... in the mornin' Fever all through the night Sun lights up the day time Moon lights up the night I light up when you call my name 'cause I know you're gonna treat me right You give me fever (you give me fever) when you kiss me Fever when you hold me tight (you give me fever) Fever ... in the mornin' Fever all through the night (WOW!!) Everybody's got the fever That is somethin' you all know Fever isn't such a new thing Fever started long time ago (You give me fever) Baby, turn on your love light (yeah, yeah) Let it shine on me (yeah, yeah) Well, baby, turn on your love light (yeah, yeah) And let it shine on me (yeah, yeah) Well, just a little bit higher (yeah, yeah) And just a little bit brighter, baby (yeah, yeah) You give me fever (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) You give me fever (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) You give me fever (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) You give me fever. Romeo loved Juliet Juliet she felt the same When he put his arms around her He said, "Julie baby you're my flame" Thou givest fever when we kisseth Fever with thy flaming youth Fever I'm on fire Fever yea I burn forsooth Captain Smith and Pocahontas Had a very mad affair When her daddy tried to kill him She said "Daddy oh don't you dare" "He gives me fever with his kisses" "Fever when he holds me tight" "Fever, I'm his missus" "Daddy won't you treat him right?" Now you've listened to my story Here's the point that I have made Cats were born to give chicks fever Be it Fahrenheit or centigrade We give you fever when we kiss you Fever if you live and learn Fever till you sizzle What a lovely way to burn What a lovely way to burn What a lovely way to burn, ah What a lovely way to burn
Clarification This has been bugging my mind for a while so I wanted to clarify, in case you are surfing through my blog (Thanks for taking the time, by the way!) that this blog is more then just my sexual preferences. Like I stated in The Beginning post, I have another blog in another site that I don't feel comfortable, at this time, to blog about my thoughts about my sexual preferences. So I am using this blog as that and about more things that I like and say a lot about me. Soon I will identify myself, but now is not the time. Plus, I don't think I am the only one that is keeping my personal idenity a secret....

Bryan Greenberg In my spare time between classes, I was bored and decided to surf around IMDb and Yahoo's Upcoming Movies to search new movies that are about to comeout. I remembered that I heard about Prime in the "Today" show so I decided to check out the preview. The movie seems very interesting with an original plot, which I won't go into (go and search yourself) because in the middle of the trailer I fell infatuated with the stud (to the left) that plays Uma Thurman's boyfriend and Meryl Streep's son. His name is Bryan Greenberg and can be seen on TV's One Tree Hill. Ohh my..... He reminds me of a Hayden Christensen, but I think he may know how to act a lot better then Hayden. I think I am infatuated right now =)....... ::sighs:: I can't wait until I see the movie!!!
Fantasy Sports One thing that I find interesting is Fantasy Sports. I have been hooked since my friend introduced me to Fantasy Baseball in Yahoo in 2004. The reason why I love it so much is because I can manage my team with real-life players but in a fantasy setup to compete with my closest friends or strangers from around the country. I just finished selecting my Fantasy Basketball players and can not wait until the season starts. I have not been lucky in the past, but I am sure that my second season will be much better than the rookie one.

Meeting new people I have noticed, especially after a friday field trip to some art museums with my humanities class, meeting new people is not what I expected it to be. Besides the extra credit points as incentive for skipping work, I wanted to use the trip as a great way to meet people and start friendships. But recently, and even when I look way back in time, making friends from meeting people in sitautions like trips is not easy. Probably it's just that I am not lucky, or I am just making it more confusing then it has to be. I met two guys that are dual enrollment students at the college I go to, they were nice since the beginning of the trip, but I did not get to talk to then until after the first museum and lunch. They are both straight, and I was not seeking love interests either, I promise!! But they were very outgoing, and we talked about the museum experiences and about school-related things. At the end, I was not sure if I wanted to give them my AIM or a contact in case they needed anything. We ended up just shaking hands and I said my typical "see ya later," to let them know that I was looking forward to another time together. In my part, I was not sure if it was "appropriate", for lack of a better term, to just gving them or for them to give me contact information. You know, so we can hang out. They are both friends, I might add, and go to another humanities class. I guess, better luck next time. Probably it was not destined to be. I see sunshine outside my window!!!!!! See ya later....
Wilma brought cold weather! I am happy to say that I have survived through my fourth hurricane since August 2004. Hurricane Wilma was an intense category three storm when it landed in South Florida, but my area only endured tropical storm force winds of speeds up to 75 mph. The hurricane's center is already seaborne and moving to the northeast, but I still feel some after effects of Wilma up to this point. The cold front that was the navigator of Wilma has just passed, or is passing through and boy.... IT'S CHILLY! Its predicted to hit record-breaking lows in this area. Probably as low as 47 degrees Fahrenheit. Ohh I love the cold. P.S. The best news that arrived from the hurricane was the cancellation of my two monday classes AND most impotantly my Economics Exam!!!!

Go-Go White Sox Now that my Florida Marlins baseball team is not in the playoffs, I allow myself and without guilt to root for another baseball team. In case you don't follow baseball, or sports, the Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox are in the World Series. I respect both teams, the Astros have spring training in my hometown and the White Sox just haven't won the Fall Classic since 1916. I am casual fans of both teams, but the White Sox more recently. Besides the Venezuelan Ozzie Guillen (who was the bench coach of the 2003 World Series Champion Marlins), I like the Sox for their Go-Go White Sox fight song....
"Let's go, Go-Go White Sox
We're with you all the way
You're always in there fighting and you do your best
We're glad to have you out here in the middle west."

I am sure that the Marlins will be playoff-bound very soon. Especially, with a new manager,
Joe Girardi.

Hurricane Wilma For a change, I have something else to blog about, but this time it is not joyous news. Two words.... HURRICANE WILMA. Just when I think the climax of the hurricane season is dwindling she appears. You would think that I learned from the 2004 Hurricane season, when I went through three hurricanes (Charley, Frances and Jeanne), Ivan only clipped us and went northward. I can say that I learned something, especially from Charley, I have stocked up on the Hurricane necesities and preparing for weeks of no power. I only hope that I am overrating this hurricane. Enough that I can look back months from now and laugh about how stupid I was for fearing for my life, lol. Let's see what happens. I'll keep you posted....

Could it Be? There is a bisexual guy that I have a very good acquaintance with in my College Club that I believe may have the hots for me. It maybe just that I am dreaming or fantasizing but he has given me the subtle look that I give to guys (straight included) when I am infatuated with. he has asked me different questions early on in the semester if I had a "boyfriend"... For clarification, remember that no one has heard from my voice that I am bi or gay or whatever you may call it. I guess he did just that... guessed? I'll keep you posted.
More about my Orange Identity I have been in the Orange state of identity since my senior year in high school. But, that can be traced since having an internet connection at my house in my freshman year (2001). I have always wanted to know how it feels to be with a guy. My mother, particularly my father, would always denounce homosexuality and me when I would act a bit feminine-like. Things like how I carry my notebooks, how I talk, and how I get upset as well. So I have always tried to act how I was supposed to act, like a young boy. Since then, I have never really focused to much about my attraction of guys until the end of middle school and early years of high school. Because of the way I was brought up from my loving mother (my father later separated from the family because of the divorce with my mother), I have always thought that it was me that had the problem of liking guys. But the temptation was too much to handle so that's a main reason why I am still "in the closet" sort of speak. The thing is, like I mentioned before, I am also attracted to girls, not really sexually, but I have always, and still do, plan to marry the girl of my dreams. Like I have said to many people I have chatted with on Online chats and IMs from across the country, I think of this (my attraction to guys) as a temptation that will be satisfied after this phase of my life. If it is mean't to be in my destiny to be with a guy or a girl, I will follow the road that faith and destiny has in store for me.

My "Gay Test" result! Bi/Slightly Gay You scored -8 (-52 being completely gay, 0 being bisexual, and 52 being completely straight) For the most part, you are bisexual. You have a slight preference for the same gender, but either gender would suit you. If you are sexually inexperienced, it is possible that this will change after you do some experimenting. The Sexuality Spectrum Test ---------------------------- I might of not mentioned it, but I haven't done anything with a guy, let alone, a girl neither. So I guess when I am the experimenting stage, I will either be leaning more the left or the right. Don't worry, this is a PG-13 blog, I won't recount details if they happen. Plus, its my personal "stuff" that I should keep to myself. I will only generally discuss it in my blog. Ehh, I'll leave it as a "game-time" decision. in case you REALLY want to know!
The Beginning Finally! I have a new blog. I have another one on MySpace but I don't have a personal freedom to blog about everything I would like to write about. I don't know how well and how many people I will get the chance to meet here in Blogger, but I guess I have to take a chance with everything. I have bookmarked many blogs from Blogger and I read one very often, so I guess I was destined to start one here eventually. Well I have to work on a Humanities presentation for class tomorrow, so I better get going.
