This may come to a surprise to many of you, but don't fear what I am about to brief you on...

I have been desiring to move my blog to another service to commemorate my one-year anniversary since starting Orange Maze. But there has been a bug that screwed the layout on this blog that is forcing me to move the re-launch date two months before the One-year mark.

Instead of the original October 18, 2006 launch... The new date will be August 17th.

I know that this new opportunity will boost my motivation to continue blogging and have fun along with all of you.

What's up with me this time around. The lack of motivation? Taking another short break? blog drama? Traversing around the world? Did V.J. find his long-lost love?

NOPE!!

Although it would have been nice if I did find my mate while I was tucked in a world far away from my sun-state standard life in Florida. Am I quitting the search for my love or my quest to find what I really do prefer, sexually? No not really.

Writers have lost their skill in storytelling when their mind is blocked just the same way painters have lost their sense of creativity when all is dried out.

I feel as if I am in the same position. I am in a total blogger's block. It may be because I have nothing else to say at the moment or because I lost my skill of jotting down my thoughts on my blog. I could say that I have no more fuel to keep on going or if its just too expensive to refill my noggin with foreign oil (bad joke... So so sorry).

Whatever the excuse may be, It does not matter because its just that... An Excuse!

All I know is that I am far from the thought of ending this blog. There are so many thing my blogster friends need to know about me and there are loads of people I hope to reach through my blog. Perhaps have the opportunity to make a friend out of each of them I'll come to know.

Right now there is not much progress going on... There hasn't been any substantial activity since June. It almost makes me think why I even bother updating this blog if no one really reads this. I miss the old days when it was fun to post entries, read comments, and share things with new people that come by. Its the little bit of memory I have to continue blogging that keeps me going. My real reason to blog is make friends... Yes. But I do it for me, to meet new people and know the ones I have met already.

This video I got from &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com"&gt;YouTube&lt;/a&gt;. The song played in the short home-made dance skit is Justin Timberlake's new single from his second solo album. This song, like the rest of the album gives a different vibe and impression on Mr. JT. But before I go one, enjoy the short sample and the four guys in the video. If you ask me.... I really adore the two guys on the left!

These four divine beings are far more enjoyable then watching one JT, but that's making me go on a tangent. Nonetheless, my head is banging, my heart is thumping and my feet are tapping to the beat. By the way, I am loving how Justin's voice was altered. It sounds more electronic and spacey than what I am used to hearing him. I am hesitant to say JT sounds like a girl in the song, so I'll say his voice sounds more androgynous (unisex).

I made a new promise to myself about getting rid of an uncontrollable addiction I've been having for a LONG time. I would assume it's common practice among all guys because we are the intended audience of this mess, so I call it.

I am talking about the very lustful Porn industry. I get "turned on" more with the m2m, twink, sugar daddy, Bears, bareback, blowjob action that Gay porn features. The reason I want to stop gazing and relieving my aroused phallus from its stress is because I am just bored of it. Its really getting old and I have re-evaluated my views on sex and pleasure. I think romance and love is more satisfying than my lust-filled desires and sexual fantasies.

So I am publishing this entry because writing of my commitment to diminish my gay porn addiction may be more helpful than leaving my thoughts unwritten. I tend to follow through my everyday things and goals if I write them down. So here's the post you may be laughing at. :)

Dan Uggla his surname reads similar to the word "ugly," has been a solid all-around contributor to the surprising success to my Florida Marlins. There is nothing ugly about his baseball skills and his playboy looks.

Some gay dudes wonder why other guys love sports and following them. Dan Uggla is one of a thousand reasons why we do. In any sport, there's entertainment, pride, excitement, victory and defeat... Then there's sex appeal.

Let me first mention a disclaimer before I begin my entry. I know it's shallow to be admiring a guy's perfect body and superficial to find and love a partner for their divine physique, but there are no denials by me that a body, in the perfect form is an artsy masterpiece.

A number of sculptures and paintings do focus on the beauty of the form of the male or female body. There are the &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus_de_Milo"&gt;Venus de Milo&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_%28Michelangelo%29"&gt;Michelangelo's David&lt;/a&gt;, and for the sake of mentioning, the mysterious Mona Lisa (although its not a sculpture and has nothing to do with beauty).

Even though I don't focus my attraction towards guys (or girls) entirely on their physical attributes, I have to admire (and enjoy) the eye candy of a Guy's perfect body, just for the viewing pleasure.

Finally I am back! Time has been very nice to allow me to do something I have always enjoyed, blogging. Now that I am here Let me first share with you the most important of entries I have been desiring to type for a while... About that well known Rainbow I saw.

It was June 25th of this year, a Sunday afternoon that was overcast by showering clouds and a sun peeking through the light gray sky. The mixture of sunshine, clouds, and tiny droplets of rain made my rainy day unusually pleasant.

My house is not surrounded by fences, at least not yet, so I was able to watch my lawn, the empty parcel of land and the tree-filled conservation area (behind my house) turn from mundane to some vivid shades of green. The icing on top of that spectacular view was the rainbow forming over Osceola county.

Although, this was not the first time I saw a rainbow, I found out that not many of you get the chance to spot one, it was the first time I got to admire a rainbow not only for the beauty it portrays as a natural wonder bust also for the symbolism its associated with the LGBT rights movement. Admiring the rainbow as a symbol, a logo, for many Americans and citizens of the world is what made that day, week even my 20th birthday that much sweeter.

I consider that particular rainbow as a statement from God (don't think I am loosing it, please). What do I get from it? Well, because I am an optimist, I view that Homosexuality is no more sinful than adultery, greed, gluttony, fornication, betrayal and envy. I mentioned the term sinful because some things of homosexuality are stated in the Bible as such. Its something I have to live with and believe that I am doing no harm to society because I am questioning my sexuality. Being attracted to guys is something I have noticed since childhood and no one, not even me nor my parents can correct it. I have feelings towards guys for a reason and perhaps God has a purpose for my life I have to live with. I have no problem with that.

I never knew I can get so much thoughts from watching a rainbow.

As the name of the edition suggest, I have been desiring to write about a rainbow that I spotted in the final week of June. There is more to the story than just a picturesque photo-op with sparkling wonder from mother nature. In fact, it spans a block of three consecutive days which I listened, watched, read, and saw symbols and "signs" that I'll interpret whenever I get the chance to update my blog.

Speaking of updates, sorry for the  lack of them in the past few weeks. I never intended to take a long hiatus from something I enjoy doing. But with increased interest from my brother to use the internet (I only have one computer in my house). Together with this being my summer vacation, work, school registration, and "stuff," I never imagined that I would have a full plate of things to do in a "vacation."

In all sincerity, I also lost a bit of my motivation to create blog entries. That may be contributed with the ordeal [&lt;a href="http://vjorange.blogspot.com/2006/06/back-in-groove.html"&gt;om&lt;/a&gt;] from last month. I have received an email questioning my neutrality and that really ticked me the wrong way. Yes, I am now weary and careful to believing everything I read since then, but I don't read blogs entirely for their honesty and credibility, although those are qualities I admire... Blogging has an entertainment value and will stir many emotions at once. I'll end this topic at that. I have better things to worry about.

Finally, I took some time off from my routine and visited the city I used to call home (although I still consider it my hometown), Miami! If you have followed my blog for a while, you'll know this trip was not my first nor will it be my last to South Florida. It was a short two-day vacation, but I had fun nonetheless. There some things I observed and bothered me a bit, so I'll share that info soon...

Hopefully sooner rather than later!

I know this happens to the best of us, and for the most part, the song replays itself in one's mind in an endless loop. Sometimes the tracks are great head-banging songs, nice soothing tunes, or a horrible played-out nuisance.

At this moment, &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Amazing Life&lt;/span&gt; is the song that I just can't get enough of. At least not until I find a way to obtain the track and play out the song until I have no choice than to puke the mp3 out of my collective soul.

Unfortunately, iTunes does not have the song by Jem (comparable but she's better than Dido) available to download individually because its an exclusive track to a compilation album. Which means I have to spend more money I did not plan to invest to purchase the whole CD, a second volume soundtrack to &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Six Feet Under&lt;/span&gt;, the former HBO show.

I have no problems with spending more money for the whole CD, I just don't have money to lavish myself with an amazing song. I'll save extra change though.

In the song, the protagonist is persuading a loved one to axe the idea of commiting suicide because of the potential of living a wonderful life... Its just my interpretation but there so many ways to spin the lyrics and get different meanings out of it.

The main reason is because I am spending more time reading blogs (known and new to me) and commenting.

Thanks for all of the well wishes concerning my 20th birthday, which was yesterday June 30th. Soon the day will come when I will no longer look forward to becoming older, but in the mean time I am enjoying the fact that I am two decades old.

Just one more year until I am fully legal to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. Not that I am an alcoholic or that I have to drink in order to have a good time, but I like the taste of alcohol together with mixed cocktail drinks or tropical daiquiris.

Hopefully I'll make up the lost time tomorrow. Maybe the thought of waking up early tomorrow is a great idea.

Team USA out of Cup!</title><content type='html'>&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Last week I was ecstatic by the long awaited NBA championship I wanted my team, the Miami HEAT, to win. Even if I was two hundred miles to the north of my hometown's celebrations, thanks to the internet, I got to watch live TV coverage from some Miami TV stations showing the late-night celebration that halted South Florida cities all night long... No arrests reported. In addition, I got to witness the championship parade that took place on Friday. I was trying my very best to be part of the celebration despite the long distance between Miami and Orlando. I will try to savor the moment next season because I will look to traveling down to Miami come October when the HEAT start the next season.

From a moment of celebration to the agony of defeat...

The US Soccer team failed to advance to the second round of the FIFA World Cup. Its disappointing because I was looking forward to the moment that most Americans will appreciate the sport of Soccer, but the reality is that Soccer/Football, whatever the name of the sport is, will never be as popular as the other sports played in the USA... Here's to the 2010 World Cup! I am not feeling an ounce of despair and I will not allow myself to, because the Miami HEAT are champions of the basketball world!!!!

Before I leave, I want to answer a comment left by one of my dear readers, Kalvin... In case you did not read the IM I left you the other day, cheering for a basketball team can be linked with rooting for a figure skater to win the gold medal. The excitement level, in my opinion, is much higher. I compare it to the excitement of ringing in the new year with a bunch of your closest friends.

It's hard to imagine myself in a somber mood today after some elated events that brought joy within me the past week. I can't blame myself entirely for feeling blue today because in my neck of the woods, borrowing the phrase made famous by TV weatherman Al Roker, its cloudy, pouring rain and the thunder is not helping to quench the sadness.

In respect to the rain, central Florida needed a nice shower from a tropical wave because it has been blazing hot and the threats from the drought and wild fires were unsettling my fellow Floridians.

So here is to tomorrow! Hoping it will be a better day than this one.

After updating my blog with what I felt as a unusual-but-necessary post, the day became even more perplexed. I can't disclose the situation but it had to do with a very ugly seperation. Which in turn, left me befuddled and upset.

That is in the past and I can say that after taking the shower very late at night, I felt much better and ready to bid adios to a very odd day.

Yes Dean... It was a cold shower, LOL. But it was not for the reasons mostly associated with taking 'em.

&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Update (6/18/2006): To calrify a bit, leaving out the details and the drama surrounding what happened later on Friday, I was disapointed to have a blogging friend leave the blogosphere for good and another upset by comments concerning his credibility and honesty. Many of my friends in my blogroll are/were connected to both of these blogs so I assume that everyone will feel torn. Both of the bloggers are known to me and enjoy(ed) reading each blog. Perhaps what I have to ask myself is what's up with me?

I am not sad or somber... I am actually quite happy and anxious. Both emotions are kind of contributed by the latest news in the wide world of sports. The Miami HEAT (NBA), my favorite team, just tied the series and need two more victories to win the championship... That's some good news. I am anxious because The US Men's Soccer team is about to face the Italian soccer team in a must win game.

If you follow any, if not both of the sports, you'll get my drift. If the news is foreign to you, sorry. I'm a sports junkie.

It may be that I need some sleep, or just today was not a good day to blog.

The heavy showers that drenched my part of town really tampered my mood, and probably my job exhausted me today...

Have you ever had a day that you had no clue what was going on emotionally, and seem to be bored no matter what you do. It's as if anything I normally do to escape boredom and entertain myself (like blogging) is just plain BLAHH -- just for the moment.

Perhaps all I need is a cold shower to wash the laziness out of me. Yeah, that may do the trick.

I found this video in &lt;a href="http://www.towleroad.com"&gt;Towleroad&lt;/a&gt; and was promised by Andy it was worth spending five minutes of my day.

The verdict... The video delivers and Fox News' Julie Banderas did a heck of a job in debunking and confronting Shirley Phelps-Roper, of the family-operated Westboro Baptist Church, about the hatred and disrespect they have done to thousands of mourning families.

I read many of the comments from Andy's post about the timing of "Faux" News and the rest of the media on the hate-spreading WBC. The Phelps family have been spotted in the mainstream only recently but they have caused havoc on many families trying to mourn and remember the loved ones lost by AIDS/HIV, mostly homosexuals, for many years. The first time I heard of the WBC was on the first anniversary of Matthew Shepard's death. They had websites focusing on mottos like "God Hates Fags," "God Hates America... Bush... Canada", "Thank God for 9/11".

Apparently God hates everyone and everything but the Westboro Baptist Church and the Phelps family if you ask my opinion.

I thank God that Latina journalist Julie Banderas put The Wicked Witch of the West in her place and preached to Phelps that God is not one of hatred and wrath.

Even if Fox or "Faux" News were late in reporting about these bigot lunatics, they finally argued what I would have said if I was in front of these losers.

Last Saturday, June 3rd, was Gay Day at Disney's Magic Kingdom. I was not motivated to play around the park after work because I got off in the late evening after an exhausting but pleasant day of Gay Pride. It was nice to watch every group of people (Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Transgender, Drags, Twinks, Straight, you get the idea) supporting the cause to celebrate tolerance.  It was also nice looking at the different guys I was infatuated with. At the same time I felt upset because I felt like an outcast, probably because all I saw was the stereotypical view that the majority of people have. Nothing bad, but not encouraging either. I also felt lonely seeing men with their partners and knowing that I still don't have one or a guy that I can call a trusting friend of my deepest secret.  With the day already past, I am feeling better and upbeat.

Also... A reason why I have disappeared, even after my New York trip is because I have some family members over my house and I am taking them to Walt Disney World. Its one of those blessing/burdens I learned to deal with after becoming a Disney World Cast Member (employee). I apologize and I will update all of you more frequently.

Not to forget... I also have to register for Fall semester classes and fill out my Financial Aid stuff!

&lt;a href="http://kellystern.blogspot.com/"&gt;Kelly Stern&lt;/a&gt;, the blogger of Rambling along in Life, posted a personal picture depicting a Rainbow Pride flag and Old Glory (American flag) in the background.  These flags are flown proudly in front of his Richmond, VA home. The fact that he lives in a "southern" city, with all of the intolerance that may be a common sight, and having the courage and pride to display both flags together says a lot about this man's character.

June is not only the month of my birthday and the Summer season, it's also a month that carries a special significance in the homosexual community. I never knew that June was the official "Pride Month" until reading about it in a newsletter about four years ago.

Since knowing about "Pride Month," I am prouder to have my birthday in the month of June. No matter what my final sexual preference may be, I will always have that sentiment because I believe every body is human and deserve to be treated with moral values in mind.

I am posting this picture for the hope that tomorrow will be a harmonious day for everyone to co-exist as human beings despite the diversity present in the world.

On the first quiz I was girlish and now I am seen as a straight boy. What is  not surprising is that the statement -- Almost everyone knows but me -- is true. What am I waiting for? A commitment with a guy. Once I have a boyfriend and love him so much that I cry at night, then I will know for sure if I really do find guys attractive.

In other words, I know I find guys attractive and sexually arousing but I need to know for sure. If I can find a phrase closely related to this situation it will me "Talk the talk. Now walk the walk." How do I know I certainly love a guy if I haven't had a boyfriend. Not to forget, I never had a girlfriend.

So yes, unfortunately I am in the middle ground of questioning my sexuality (umm, who does not know that by now? LOL). And yes, I am a str8 boi! I just don't dress like the guy in the picture or look like that dude.

To sum it all up, I NEED A BOYFRIEND! Gosh, saying that is so much easier than getting one. If no boyfriend is in sight, then a gay friend to trust would be great. To clarify, I do have gay friends in the blogging world but I need a warm blooded person where I live. James knows my situation and I can relate to his.

Here are the rules: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write 10 words beginning with that letter in your blog, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

I was appointed, by &lt;a href="http://cypher4356.blogspot.com/"&gt;James&lt;/a&gt;, to make a list with the best and 22nd letter of the alphabet, V. Many of you are frequent readers of James and might notice it is the same letter he posted, but he was very gracious to grant me this letter "V". Who knew that the letter "V" would mean so much to me. You will know three reasons coming up in the list of 10.

Here ya Go....


1. Vicissitude -- this word I first encountered while reading my summer book "Team of Rivals." In short, the novel describes the political team Abraham Lincoln had as his cabinet. Almost all of President Lincoln's cabinet members were his rival during the nomination of the Republican candidate for President. Anyhow, the word so interesting that I wrote it down in a list of words to define, because I am too dumb to understand (I am being hard on myself). It is defined as: "A change or variation."

2. Vicarious -- defined as: "Felt or undergone as if one were taking part in the experience or feelings of another." This is also a title to a song played by the rock band Tool. That is how I got around discovering the word.

3. &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Varela&lt;/span&gt; -- this is more than a word and a Spanish last name, it represents four years of my life that I will never forget. Varela is the last name of a Cuban priest that many Cuban exiles idolize. He is also linked with helping Irish immigrants that settled in New York in the 1800's. His name is Father &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Varela"&gt;Felix Varela&lt;/a&gt; and he is the name sake of my alma mater, the great Felix Varela High School of Miami.

4. V (Symbol) -- it is the symbol for potential (energy) in Science, more specifically Physics.

5. &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;V... (My real name)&lt;/span&gt; -- this is the letter of my first name. For identity issues, especially after Ryan's incident, I'll say no more. Many of you know my name anyways, I trust those that do know my name will keep it confined within you. For those of you reading, it will be a matter of time before you will personally know from me, my real name.

6. &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Viper&lt;/span&gt; -- again, this is more than a snake, it represents my high school and the people that love the institution. I was called a &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viper"&gt;Viper&lt;/a&gt; for the four years of high school because it was the mascot, nickname and symbol of Varela. The snake, on the other hand, is very venomous and I will not even come close to one. This word also describes a very evil person... Like a viperine.

7. V sign -- the hand gesture is used to represent peace and/or victory. In the UK, the "reversed peace sign" is as insulting as flicking the finger.

8. Varsity -- I mentioned this before but I'll remind everyone and boast about my short stint in varsity sports while I was in high school. I participated in the varsity team of Track and Field for two seasons in my sophomore and junior year. I had other responsibilities during my senior year so I refused to join for a third year. Because I was not a fast runner, I mean a very slow runner, I was considered as a motivator by my team mates. They would always compliment me for always finishing practice without complaining and griping about pain. I had a great (and slow) first season and I got a varsity letter "V" and a "Viper Award" for my achievements and appreciation. I never knew how much athletics was going to change my life.

9. Vault -- a great way to store things securely. It is also the name of my newly favored energy drink.

10. Valencia -- A "land" or province of Spain. There is also a soccer team named Valencia F.C. in the Spaniard league. There are cities and school, in the USA, with the name Valencia. Valencia is even a particular Orange found in Spain.

A new reader named Kalvin, thanks for the comment, questioned the reasoning behind my profile description of myself being "anything other than straight." He brought up a good argument against the description... Here is the comment in his own words.

The default of straight is a heterosexist paradigm meant to signify that we are less than normal. That's something I don't believe.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt; Reading the comment again while I copied it on this entry, I see that you got my description twisted, but thats my bad. I tend to confuse people so I apologize for that.

I do get the gist of the comment, why don't I just say that I am questioning? The reason why I do not like to use that word is because I feel the word describes me as an insecure, uncertain, unstable person.

Many heterosexuals and homosexuals, that I know, believe that bisexuality is an orientation of uncertainty. "You either like men or women, you can't like both" but I believe I do, just that I have a sexual attraction for men and an innocent affectionate attraction for women.

Anyways, I appreciate your comment and I observed it with good intentions because I know you wrote it out of the goodness of your beliefs. So why did I describe myself as anything other than straight and not simply "questioning", I intended they both had the same definition. At least that is how I meant to define it when I published the profile. Yes, I am questioning my sexuality, but I just did not like to post the word "questioning." I wanted to find a phrase that would serve as a metaphor for the term. I never meant to imply that we were not normal, because homosexuals or bisexuals are far from abnormal. 

Its not a mental disease like what the Chinese government first claimed homosexuality to be, I am just a person to happening to be questioning my sexuality. The same way that many of my friends in the blogging community are great, intelligent people that happen to be gay.
